The League of Women Voters of Marin County has filmed presentations with three key players in the June 29 midnight turnover of control of Marin General Hospital from Sutter Health Inc. to the Marin Healthcare District Board in an effort to educate the public about the changes in governance of Marin�s largest hospital.

      The two who were interviewed by former League president Margaret Jones are Jon Friedenberg, Chief Fund and Business Development Officer for both the board and the hospital; and Larry Bedard, chair of the board.  Lee Domanico, currently Chief Executive Director of board, who will become Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, was filmed at a recent meeting of League members.

      Jones has attended the board�s monthly meetings for the past dozen years and used her knowledge and experience to create the interview questions.

      �The League has produced these interviews with the goal of educating the community about the significant changes at Marin General, allowing the people most directly involved to explain  the facts about the turnover in an objective and low-key format,� stated League president Margy Eller.  �After all the years of turmoil over the hospital�s governance, we think it is crucial for the public to understand how the hospital is now going to be administered.�
