Produced by the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (Center) and Presenting Sponsor Union Bank, the Heart of Marin Awards recognize outstanding Marin nonprofits and the committed individuals who serve them. Below are the seven award categories and their sponsors:

Volunteer of the Year- Redwood Credit Union

Excellence in Board Leadership- Kaiser Permanente, San Rafael

Excellence in Leadership- Marin Community Foundation

Achievement in Nonprofit Excellence- Autodesk

Excellence in Innovation- Bregante + Company LLP and Wells Fargo

Corporate Community Service- College of Marin

Youth Volunteer of the Year- Bank of Marin

Winners in the first five categories will receive $5,000 for their nonprofit organization. Five Youth Volunteer of the Year Awards of $1,000 each will be presented to full-time middle or high school students.
