Nominations for the Marin Women's Hall of Fame - Class of 2014

October 09, 2024

The nomination period for the Marin Women's Hall of Fame - Class of 2014 - is open now through November 22, 2013!

It is hard to imagine Marin County without the work of countless women shaping the life, culture, mores, and landscape of Marin County. From a Frank Lloyd Wright designed Civic Center to high quality public schools, Artworks in San Rafael, vast areas of open space and a robust network of nonprofits, women have put their mark on Marin County.

And Marin women's contributions go beyond our county - honorees have been in space, to the Arctic, created social changing documentaries, served in the U.S. Senate, and helped integrate holistic mind/body medicine with western medical practices.

Let us know about a woman who has made extraordinary contributions to our county, state, nation or world. And, forward this email to everyone you know to help spread the call for nominations!

Warm regards,
Jane Winter
