SAN ANSELMO ARTS COMMISSION ANNUAL SILENT ART AUCTION FUNDRAISER

Fabulous, fun, and anything but silent, this auction promises an evening of amazing music, food, wine, and art by Marin artists. Bid on items from Marin businesses too. Proceeds fund the volunteer-run San Anselmo Arts Commission, which supports community art, provides free summer concerts, and funds children and teen art programs.

Hills Services (teen and youth programs); the Godmothers of Timothy Murphy School at St. Vincent's School for Boys (helping disadvantaged boys with education and life skills); and the North Bay Children's Center (a subsidized daycare center).

The annual Country Fair Day is a true old-fashioned family affair with entertainment for all ages: live music, a community parade, food and beverages, and other activities. First come for a pancake breakfast at the fire station served by our very own Ross Valley Fire Department. Then listen to live musical acts from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the parade along San Anselmo Avenue at 2 p.m. with local school children, residents, town dignitaries and businesses participating.
